Again, I got the photographyer Biron’s great works. They will be presented soon in Europe. This breakthrough exhibition of Photos by BIRON from 1994 to 2005 features 18 Asian male models from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines.
BIRON began taking photos as a teenager in the mid 1950s and won awards for his efforts as early as 1961. Based in San Francisco since 1978, BIRON’s photography has, from the early 1990s, focused on youthful multicultural males occasionally professional models, but more often amateurs who live or vist his adoptive city.
BIRON’s male photography has been exhibited at the Scott Nichols Gallery in San Francisco and the Kinsey’s Institute’s 2011 Juried Art Show in Bloomington, Indiana. His work has been published in 10 photography books and several magazines globally including Blue (Australia), Têtu (France), XY (USA) and OG (Singapore).
